Friends of Animal Care and Control
Friends of Chicago Animal Care and Control (FCACC) is the nonprofit group committed exclusively to helping save the lives of over 23,000 animals that come into custody of Chicago Animal Care and Control (ACC) at 2741 S. Western each year. They do that by: Providing food, medical care and adoption opportunities for ACC animals in our foster program - Telling people about 2741 S Western as a great place to adopt, educating people about the proper care of their animals, advocating humane treatment of all animals, and gifting the city shelter with resources the city budget doesn't cover. www.fcacc.org
Young at Heart Pet Rescue
They are a 501(c)3 not-for-profit, volunteer-based organization dedicated to the rescue and rehoming of mature and senior dogs and cats. 100% of their adoptable pets are rescued from open-admission shelters where their age makes them first in line for euthanasia. The Puppy Mill Project
The Puppy Mill Project is a Chicago based 501(c)3 not-for-profit founded in November 2009. The mission of The Puppy Mill Project is to show the direct connection from puppy mill dogs to pet store puppies and internet sales. They do this through peaceful protests, community interaction, educational school programs, and legislation. Trio Animal Foundation
The Trio Animal Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization that assists shelters, rescues and individuals by paying the medical bills of homeless pets. TAF also promotes adoption and responsible pet ownership, including spay and neutering. www.trioanimalfoundation.org

Dare 2 Tri
dare2tri is the nations first USAT sanctioned Paratriathlon Club. Our mission is to get individuals with physical disabilities or visual impairments involved in the sport of triathlon. We hope to support athletes looking to complete their first triathlon all the way up to those hoping to represent the USA when paratriathlon makes it debut at the 2016 Paralympics. Our motto is "One Inspires Many" and we hope to not only inspire our athletes to train and compete in a triathlon but we also hope to inspire the able bodied community and show them what athletes with disabilities are capable of. www.dare2trichicago.com

Animal Welfare League
The Animal Welfare League is committed to helping every pet find a good home. Our motto is "recovery is the answer, not euthanasia" for animals that come to us injured, neglected, or abused. Our founding shelter, located at 6224 South Wabash Avenue in Chicago, still exists today as the only humane society on the south side of Chicago, additionally we have a second, full-service facility located at 10305 Southwest Highway in Chicago Ridge, where we can accommodate the increase in the number of homeless and unwanted animals, housing the largest number of adoptable animals from a non-profit organization in the entire mid-west. www.animalwelfareleague.com
